Work performed: Painting entire exterior of home, plus exterior of an outbuilding and a shed, including trim/fascia/gutters/doors/brick. Sam and his crew are among the best contractors we've ever worked with for any type of job. He is very knowledgeable and very communicative, which means it's easy to trust his judgment. Even so, he checks in regularly to be sure that everyone is happy with the work being done and the direction things are heading. He's also politely and professionally upfront about what he can guarantee, what he recommends, and things to look out for. Our house looks excellent for a very fair price, and we feel confident about the longevity of the work. I found North Coast Painting via Yelp. Sam and his crew (Lucas, Sergio, and Andre) painted the exterior of our home in Shoreline in July, and we couldn't be happier with their work and the results. From the beginning, Sam was the most responsive communicator of all the companies I reached out to. His bid was reasonable, and we liked his professionalism. We asked to reschedule from the spring because a bird had built its nest right next to the house. Sam was very gracious about changing up his schedule and said he'd work us in once the babies had flown the nest. He booked us for the week of the 4th of July. Two of his guys  (Sergio and Andre) worked a full day on the holiday, to get everything done within a week. This was during a major heat wave, so we were especially impressed by their work ethic (and tried to keep them hydrated)! They also showed great attention to detail, which is evident in how beautiful it looks. We booked with Sam again to do the interiors in September, before we put the house on the market. Our neighbors recommended North Coast Painting to us and we used them to re stain our deck. They did an amazing job! When they were sanding, they noticed some boards were rotting and they showed us, and told us they could replace the boards which they did. They also upgraded the stain using a very nice product. Sam & Lucas did a great job on painting our house.  We waited too long to have the house painted.  They took the time and care to make the house look like new.  Plus they explained what to do make the paint last for years, such as pressure washing the house every two years.  We will have them come back to do that.  Excellent job!!
